Travel Bags for the Girls in the Family

Packing for my family has been rather easy over recent years. Every trip we’ve packed all of our shoes and clothes in the huge, lightweight Antler Liquis suitcase and it’s worked rather well. Naturally the older kids, now tweens, are insisting they have their own suitcases. It must be their sense of independence shining through. In the meantime, we’re planning a busy summer of travel which includes a cruise and I’ve been trying to figure out how to reduce what we bring and condense our belongings. Lucky for the girls – and me – I’ve discovered some cool travel bags that are perfect for our excursions.

1. Embrazio Tasca Purse. Let’s start with a word about this gorgeous brand. Embrazio is the real deal. They use the finest leather to make stunning, quality bags. The first time I touched the Tasca Purse ($134), I couldn’t believe it. The price tag is well worth it. It is truly the softest leather I’ve ever felt. Here’s a fun fact: Embrazio spent over a year and a half prototyping this purse. The goals was to use a soft leather that naturally wrapped around the hip and thigh (accomplished!). There’s also something special about the zippers…I didn’t know what it was until I read that these polished zippers cost 5 times more than the normal purse zippers. The purse is 7″ wide by 7″ tall by 3″ wide at the bottom the perfect size for holding a smart phone, wallet, keys, lipgloss – all of a lady’s necessities. And since it’s a cross strap, meaning handsfree, it’s perfect for travel. There’s no reason for me to be hauling my huge purse around a cruise ship, strolling the streets of Savannah, or walking a theme park this summer. Plus, it’s stylish and while there is a nice selection of color choices I adore the yellow. This is my new favorite travel purse!
