Are Straight Belts Obsolete?
Embrazio Surpasses 100 Retail Stores Nationwide BOULDER, COLORADO
(Wednesday, March 30, 2016) Products from four-year-old handmade leather accessories designer/manufacturer Embrazio are now carried in over 100 retail boutiques in 22 states across the US. What began as a belt company with a patented innovative curved design modeled to shape naturally with the human body has quickly expanded into one of the fastest growing new providers of genuine leather accessories in the country. Called the Curva, Embrazio’s patented belt design is calculated at each 2” increment to perfectly flow over the hips and fit snugly down in back and front. The shape is similar to the form a leather belt naturally assumes if worn for many years. The result is a much more comfortable feel, elimination of “gapping” of the belt in the middle of the back, and a more flattering curvaceous look. Co-founder and lead designer, Stephanie Boyles, says she took her inspiration for the design from old western gun holsters. “I wanted a belt that felt like part of your body… so much so that you might not even feel you had it on. As an avid dressage equestrian, I also wanted a belt that looked and felt great while on horseback. This started me thinking about working cowboys and one of their most important tools, the gun belt/holster.” The company introduced its first curved belt in 2013 and now offers a wide range of colors and styles including a line of 1 1/2” Coperto belts fully covered with distressed rivets. Embrazio also sells online and has expanded beyond belts into handmade genuine leather handbags, bracelets, and cell phone cases. “No matter what the item, our customers expect Embrazio to bring innovative and stylish designs to market with functionality to meet the needs of today’s demanding and diverse lifestyles and, of course, just feel and smell great as well,” said Boyles.
