We have spent the better part of the last decade traveling the country meeting boutique owners. We've worked with some amazing people and stores over the years and wanted to spend some time highlighting them here on our website.

We didn't have to travel very far to find our first partner - Janet Taffet of Jacque Michelle in our hometown of Boulder, Colorado. Janet was one of our first retail partners and has been an essential part of the Embrazio journey since the very beginning. 

Her store, Jacque Michelle is one of our favorite boutiques, and she was kind enough to sit down with us to answer a few questions about her store and Embrazio.

How would you describe Jacque Michelle to someone who has never been.

At Jacque Michelle we’ve created a fun experience around discovering fashion. Our team is there to help guide you through the process and share in celebrating all that you find and enjoy.

How would you describe your typical customer?

She’s a local woman between the ages of 30 and 70. She comes in to buy a gift or a greeting card and walks out with a piece of jewelry and a piece of clothing. Customers say; “1 for her 2 for me ... No! 3 for me 1 for her.” They leave with joy for themselves and a gift they are really excited to give.

How long have you been selling Embrazio products?

We’ve been carrying Embrazio 10 years now. I decided to carry Embrazio because it was different, a really cool idea, and I felt like I could get behind it.

What’s your favorite Embrazio product.

Right now the jewelry is my favorite. We can get customers very excited over it. You have quite a local following.

Anything else you would like to mention?

People that buy the bags love them. The simplicity of the bags is different. Part of the charm of Embrazio bags is their complete utilitarian appeal - high quality leather, very useful functionality, and they look even better with age and wear.

I carry your Embrazio small backpack in red. It holds just the right amount. And I happen to love the ring that attaches the shoulder straps. My phone fits right here in this outside pocket. I’ve had this bag for 3 years now and it is holding up great. Look how well the finish has held up after all this time.
